Featuring DJ A-Trak and conceptual artist Leif Elggren, Warhol Spirit was a product launch event in New York City celebrating the artistic collaboration of Absolut Vodka and Andy Warhol 28 years before. Alex provided lighting design for the entrance hall and main areas of the event. Guests danced the night away underneath a projection-mapped installation of frosted glass Absolut Vodka bottles that was conceptualized by Berlin-based studio schnellebuntebilder.
After ticket check, visitors were guided with precisely spaced pools of light towards the new Absolut bottle.
Together with video, the lighting in the room evolved through three distinct moods and color schemes during the evening.
Renowned DJ A-Trak performed for the hundreds of guests.
